Great Multitude

9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:“Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” 13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’                                                        Revelations 7:9-17

This passage has been in my heart. The crowd that is worshiping around the throne of the lamb is described as a great multitude that is countless, numbering those from every tribe, people and language. Its clear that there is no limit to the scope of this multitude, we are talking geographic, ethnic, numeric, linguistic, economic, and the list goes on and on. This multitude is a blow your mind kind of multitude that is hard to wrap ones mind around. This great multitude has been the driver of my pursuit for campus ministry and I can't wait to see it fully in heaven!

This is our faithful Leader Team made up of Plano, Wylie and Frisco students who continually encourage me by their commitment to God and their peers. I got nothing but respect for these guys.
Our Collin team is always thinking and praying of ways we could be more intentional in our Thursday Night Fellowship services. This is one of my favorites here is Garrett helping us improve our layout/set up. We decided to change our set up into a circle in order to create a more intimate space, and encourage our students during worship as we face each other.
This is our Frisco women student leaders we took a trip to the famous Texas Fair. They have gone above and beyond, pursuing students in their classes, encouraging one another, truly befriending the girls in their core. I remember just a couple years ago we didn't have as big of a women leader team that was serious about Jesus and his people like these ladies!
Frisco ministry has been thriving more than ever! Kevin (tallest guy in the white T) joined our Collin Frisco team this year as an apprentice and has been a great addition to the team. Kevin has helped much in our mens ministry as well as pursuing students through outreach and creative ways for us to connect and hangouts with them. Here we took a trip to Scheels, outdoor store with an aquarium, ferris wheel and apparently a bear haha!
Santa Biblia The Bible Through Hispanic Eyes, has been a book I've been reading with the girls in my peer team and its brought great conversations. Here is Laiya (student on the left) and Orion (pastor on the right), two of the women in my peer team who I am going through this book with.

Prayer Request:
  • Our staff is heading out for a retreat with our Church, pray we don't check out but are rather attentive to the spirit, that we take advantage of this time to be a blessing to our body and let God speak to each of us
  • In that same spirit pray for Kevin and I as we step on campus and reach our students. Recently we've gotten pretty creative, standing with signs asking students if they need prayer, writing encouragement cards and handing them out during midterms, doing fun activities like Bad Portraits, engaging in apologetics and conversations where we create spaces to wrestle with tough ideas, questions and experiences,
